MASH TL3

MASH Test Level (TL) 3 crash test impacts are performed at 100 km/h. Impacts are performed with a 1100 kg passenger car and 2270 kg pick-up truck. Most longitudinal safety barrier, end terminals and crash cushions deployed in Australia are evaluated to MASH TL3 representing the upper crash test speed. The combination of speed and impact angle represents approximately the 93rd percentile of real-world crashesWhen the combined effects of all MASH TL3 parameters are considered, the testing represents the extremes of impact conditions to be expected in real-world situations.

RamShield W-Beam has significantly advanced the containment level of guardrail by introducing patented technology into the behaviour of the post during impact.

RamShield Median W-Beam is a back-to-back guardrail system providing safe vehicle containment and redirection when impacted from either side of the system.

RamShield Low Deflection combines the sectional strength of C-posts with w-beam guardrail to reduce the clearance required between the barrier and roadside hazard.

The higher mounting position of the thrie-beam guardrail improves the system’s ability to contain and redirect large vehicles.

An engineered solution for attachment to RamShield High Containment for installations on the hinge point of weak batters.

RocketBloc is a steel blocking piece designed for retrofitting to Australian Public Domain G4 W-Beam elevating compliance to MASH.

Sentry W-Beam features innovative technology providing controlled release of the w-beam guardrail from the support posts during a vehicle collision.

Sentry Thrie-Beam has advanced the containment level of thrie-beam guardrail by introducing innovative technology into the thrie-beam guardrail release mechanism.

An energy-absorbing, tangential end terminal, designed to minimise the severity of impacts occurring at the end of the safety barrier system.

The GMET is an energy-absorbing median guardrail end terminal, designed to minimise the severity of impacts occurring at the end of the guardrail safety barrier system.

The system has a tension-based design along with an energy-absorbing coupler that utilises an innovative cutting-tooth technology.

The RamShield Transition provides a smooth, snag-free connection between steel guardrail barriers and rigid barriers, such as at bridge parapets.

CrocGuard is a revolutionary bridge & culvert barrier spanning up to 16m between abtutment posts.

HammerBeam combines the strength of thrie-beam guardrail with the yielding behaviour of the RamShield W-Beam post.

Featuring a triple rail design, VGAN 400 is manufactured from lightweight, special grade aluminium providing safe vehicle containment.

The Universal TAU-M is fully re-directive and non-gating, providing safe vehicle containment and ride-down decelerations.

The TAU-XR is classified as a Low Maintenance Crash Cushion, providing rapid repair & reusability of components following design impacts.

The TAU-M Wide is designed to shield hazards up to 1.83 m (72”) wide typically encountered in gore areas.

Featuring an all-steel construction and measuring just 590 mm wide making it ideal for narrow medians.

Sentryline-M provides safe vehicle containment and redirection, utilising the tensile strength of tensioned wire rope cables supported by steel posts.

TALL42 is a freestanding, movable concrete barrier system designed to be used with a transfer machine that can reposition the barrier, altering the traffic lane configuration.

The DeltaBloc designs feature a unique tension bar and coupling system providing lateral support during a vehicle collision.

SafeZone is a smooth faced temporary barrier system, anchored to asphalt or concrete pavement in verge or median applications.

Featuring water filled elements and tension straps to absorb vehicle impact energy, the ABSORB-M does not require ground anchors.

QUASH is a high performance non-redirective, gating crash cushion designed to shield the blunt end of the TALL42 movable concrete barrier.

Frequently Asked Questions
