Safe Direction announce the launch of the RamShield Transition

Safe Direction is pleased to announce the launch of the RamShield Transition. Accepted by the Austroads Safety Barrier Assessment Panel (ASBAP) and compliant with MASH Test Level 3, the RamShield Transition provides a smooth, snag free connection between steel guardrail barriers and rigid barriers, including concrete parapets and CrocGuard bridge and culvert barrier.

The simple design features thrie-beam guardrail supported by RamShield HC posts at reduced spacings. No nesting of the thrie-beam is required and the system does not require bocking pieces, an important design consideration since the roadway often narrows approaching a bridge abutment. 

The 1000mm system height provides compatibility with RamShield High Containment and the installation of an asymmetric transition facilitates direct attachment to RamShield W-Beam or MSKT Terminals.
